AMBER FOX: NO SURRENDER

Leif Harmsen, Amber Fox, Radical FaeriesDaniel, Amber Fox, Beltane 2012

A theme that pervades my life and hopefully yours too is that of self-possession.   Inasmuch as someone else owns your ass or defines it "for" you, you're just their creepy zombie toy so sucks to you because being used makes you worse than useless.   There's nothing in it for you to compromise when it comes to who you are.  We gain nothing from accepting hierarchies or their vocabularies that place us below anyone or anything else.   Pandering to conformity and social extortion only ever ends in wasted lives, environmental destruction, enslavement and war.  Whenever you kowtow you betray yourself, you betray our humanity, your spine crumples, you become unnaturally dull and you personally get up my nose.

From this perspective, it's hardly radical to be a radical faerie.  It is simply our responsibility to be nothing short of ourselves. The radical part, if it sounds frightening to you, is entirely your twisted knicker so you'd have to own that. If you feel threatened by the faerie part then maybe you should; I'll kiss you smack on the lips and you just might evolve into a handsome amphibian.

Where's the harm in upsetting a cart of rotten apples? Wormsome apples shall roll forth to provide nourishment for wild pigs and a most fertile compost. Cart to kindling. Apple rot to worm poop. Bring on the worms!

Aren't faeries just the same as everyone else?
NOT IN YOUR LIFE.  NOT SINCE EVER

Amber Fox, Radical Faeries, Howard, Howie-sueI thoroughly enjoy working and playing with like-minded faeries at the gatherings at the Amber Fox, which is somewhere over Westport, Ontario, out in the boonies.  I drove my bicycle up the beautiful Perth Road from my country house near Kingston via Westport to Amber Fox a couple of times; it's a gorgeous 70km day ride.   The pilgrimage to Amber Fox sanctuary is for me fantastic, spiritual, FUN, sexy, strengthening and beautiful.  Dare I say love?  Yes I do declare: I love the experience at Amber Fox!  It's a sanctuary where we can truly be ourselves and so we can be truly social.

Leif Harmsen, Terrorist Camp

Google owns an Amber Fox blog that it lets Ricky maintain:
http://akaamberfox.blogspot.ca/

Beware: Google put a pukeworthy, insulting and puerile "Mature Content Warning" label on its Amber Fox blog.  Google can't even map it right.

I have Radical Faerie photos on my own server at

I never overstep the bounds of common decency.

I STOMP ALL OVER THEM,
naked but for my golden boots and a prickly wild rose in my mouth.

Terrorist camp.  It's all the rage.
